Thank You All!

Post by Moxie »

This maybe the Excalibur web site but what the crossbow members shoot seem to matter as long as it's a crossbow; and, I do appreciate all the information, tips, and connections this forum allows me to pick up. To all of you, My Sincere Thanks! No, I'm not an Excalibur shoot, I shoot a Barnett; but, that doesn't seem to make a difference here, as long as it is a crossbow. Again, My Sincere Thanks to all of you!!!!!

As Droptine put it we are all hunters no matter the choice of weapon . I don`t think there are many people on this forum that only partake in only one form of hunting with only one type of equipment .
Mind you I wish EVERYONE shot only excalibur bows .

Not to steal your thread............

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I want to thank all the members here as well. I haven't been a member for very long, but I must say that this is one of the easiest forums to discuss things and I really visiting here. I find myself checking in every evening just to see what new info is out there. I was welcomed as a fellow shooter and immediately assistance was offered by several members. There are quite a few forums that almost ignore new members and they only lose out because they don't want to have input from people who don't think like they do.

I am mostly a firearms guy, who enjoys all kinds of firearms from old front stuffers to new autos. I enjoy hunting, target shooting, plinking, reloading, and teaching others about firearms. I got into bow hunting for a new challenge several years ago. I got into crossbow hunting after an old shoulder injury kept me from pulling my bow anymore. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge and I know will only help me and increase my chances of taking more deer with a bow and arrow. Thanks to all the members and their gracious attitude.

I'm an Excalibur fan-atic, but I own one Barnett (Phantom Jr. for my son). It's a basic straight limb model and it shoots accurately (for it's size & weight) and it even has a decent trigger! Not a hunting bow for sure, but a good way to teach a kid the basics!

This is a very informative forum and I have got alot of good infor. but everyone has a choice of weapons. I used a compound bow for about 10 years until I got older and it got harder to pull back, now I have a excalibur . I still like hunting with a gun also. Hunting is hunting no matter what weapon you use.

All joking aside, this seems like a great site. And as already stated above everybody seems eager to help out.
