Yes i used them all the time before the Easton XX78 superslam shafts came out & i still use them, they are a very good aluminium shaft but you can't beat the XX78 shafts for straightness & strength, the trouble is easton have stopped making the XX78 in size 2219

Easton Game Getter 2 Bolts

Post by greener »

The 400 series ( 2216 ) Game Getter 2's make very good aluminum bolts. Cut to 20 in. with aluminum inserts front and back. With 2in. Blazers your weight should be around 325 grs. For a little better FOC, tip with a 125 gr. The black shafts with the silver buck tracks on the shaft also make a very nice looking bolt. Just did up a 1/2 doz. for a friend. Buy the bare shafts and cut to 20 in. a bit of waist involved but you'll be pleased with the end product.
