New Pa. crossbow owner and forum member

Post by x-bowhunr »

After reading hundreds of this forum's posts, I'm very impressed with many members' great knowledge and advice based upon their experience and experimentation with crossbows and accessories. After being an avid vertical-bow hunter for 45 yrs. and being blessed with taking 47 bucks with compounds in my tri-state area, I am excited that my state (Pa.) has now legalized the use of crossbows for archery season. Since I have also enjoyed harvesting 51 bucks using rifles, pistols, shotguns, flintlocks, percussion caps and in-lines, I am pleased to add my new Excalibur Equinox to my option list of accurate and dependable shooting/hunting weapons I can use this season. Thank you all for both current and future posts that will help me complete the accessory additions and silencing modifications that will make my Excalibur outfit the best possible horizontal hunter. Have an enjoyable, safe and successful hunting season in 2009. :)

Welcome to the forum. I too use and continue to use whatever weapon I happen to think needs a nice walk in the woods.
