Even at 30 yards.....

Post by globemountain »

Even at 30 yards you better just shoot 1 at a time.
The second shot actually carried both arrows through the first target into the bag target. Wicked accurate!

To confirm your bows accuracy let's see you do it 3 more times and then get up with crazyfarmer to place an order for some custom arrows  . Seriously, enjoying the accuracy of an Excal can get expensive. Great shooting!
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

It's a Tasco PDP2. I got it here:

There is an error in the description tho.....It is only a RED dot, no green dot.

To eliminate impacting other arrows/bolts when sighting-in and/or checking trajectory impact at different yardages with my vertical compounds, I attach a thin piece of cardboard with four roofing nails to my foam arrow stops, then stick-on multiple self-adhesive, orange target dots so I can fire multiple shots but only one per dot at 5 yd. intervals out to maximum hunting range. Then I measure, and record the average impact height at each 5 yd. interval from both ground level and up 20' and make a compact chart on orange paper and to attach to the back of the bow quiver with clear plastic laminating adhesive. For the new Excal Equinox I will sight-in and test similarly but will attach the chart to the top of the scope or red dot as I do on firearms. I find the charts very helpful to assure accurate holds at predetermined distances at cardboard deer and live deer targets. I am very anxious to complete my planned add-ons and modifications that I chosen to do to my new Equinox based upon the experienced advice of the forum family, so then I can begin testing.
