my 08/09 sheds
I didnt have much luck at all this season shed hunting. All of these were found in cut bean fields. I found the 2pt(far left) and the tall 8pt(far right) today. Whats weird is I dont have any pics of these deer in the area, espically the tall far right buck. His G2 is 10 7/8ths and im guessing he will only have a inside spread of maybe 15inches and if his other side matches, the MB should touch! He's gonna be a brute this season! He's #2 on the 09 Hit list now
the far left one needs to be taken out of the herd. Im guessing a 19inch inside spread on that deer. I believe I saw him during pre season scouting this year, but I thought he was a wide 6. Anyhow, these 5 are all I found this year. But I have photos of 6-7 shooters that I didnt find the first shed from

Wes, I pulled all the trail cameras and everythings dropped down the road from ya. All you see are empty holes where antlers use to be
goodluck up your way
I thought I had the bigger one on camera from 4 weeks ago, but this one wasnt the same deer.. this one's bigger
I still have 4 bucks I was shed hunting hard for, but no luck... only 5 sheds going over about 900 acres of land on the ATV lol

LOL... ATV is my best friend. I can scan a 50 acre field in about 15mins and thats going up and down in 20 yard spaces. By foot, it would take a good 2 hours or more to do that the same way.Grizzly Adam wrote:Well, at least you tried!crazyfarmer wrote: ... only 5 sheds going over about 900 acres of land on the ATV lol
i tried to match up this bigger half with some I had pics of but no luck. I do believe this one might be the father of the buck I took this season. Same narrow spread with tall tines and good wrap around in the front. Ill find out when I get the mount back next month

Peach, that 2pt one up on the left needs to get taken care of. I do have a cuddeback pic of the 3pt side, he's a 7pt 2.5 year old. I have a feeling he might become a nice 8 this season, but either way he's got excellent mass for his age. We are famous for big 6's down here(when i say big 6's, i mean 22inch wide 6's). We just dont have the gene pool and food like Ohio and the midwest to get better bucks
the smaller 4pt side actaully has a 1inch sticker off his brow on the back side which you cant see in the photo. I think he's a 2.5 year old also. I cant wait to see the 2 4pt side bucks this season. Im guessing ones a 3.5 year old so he's getting into his prime this time around.
Wes, my bro in law wants to go out saturday into the woods, but its a 70% chance of rain all weekend so shed hunting isnt gonna be good LOL
I was up your way about 5-6 days ago also. Man they have built some big buildings there now! I hadnt been to the beach in a good 4 years. I see they rebuilt the waterfront well also

The dollar rules, Idon't care about the beach It's all those houses they build on 10/15 acre lots I don't like If you see a dirt road going thru the woods there is a house at the end of it
