STS Installation

Post by Fork Horn »

I just picked up an STS from Shooters and The bumper rod seems too a bit to long. Has anyone else found this??
I figure I'll just cut it.
As it is right now it has the string just behind the rear line on the rail.
Any thoughts on how that will effect my fps and ke?

You will have to cut the rods of the bumpers to get the string back at a high brace height. I had to do it just like many others on the forum. Remember to keep the string from barely touching the bumpers. Good luck.

Rather than cutting my post I picked up a 3/8" diam. Aluminum rod from Lowes and cut myself new posts.
