I have hundreds of shots (both practice and hunting) with the Lumenok and they have performed flawlessly. If ordering for the GT II's you must order directly from the Burt Coyote Co. With GT II's and brass inserts the Lumenok has no real noticeable POI differance than my broadheads. There is no cooler sight than seeing a lighted nock zipped through the vitals on a deer.

I used to use the Lumenock but the little wires that it uses to complete the circuit would put a "dimple" in the back of the carbon arrow each time I fired it. The ASD would clean it up without any problem when I re fletched but it was a nuisance. I never had a problem getting them to light. For me they were very reliable.

I stopped using lighted nocks all together as I was still losing arrows in the leaf litter as I hunt from the ground.

Lumenoks work very nice, but in my experience they do change POI. Watch these videos I made

F,

GT II's
Brass inserts
2" blazer vanes
4" arrow wrap
100 grain Wasp Boss/Muzzy 4 blade/Rage 2 Blade (all 3 of these broadheads shoot like darts)

Approximate weight is 410 grains if I remember correctly.

Couple more questions while I'm at it if you don't mind.

When you refer to brass inserts are we talkin front and rear?
If I go with 150 grain botl cutters and the lumenoiks and brass inserts is the FOC still ok?
I figure that puts my bolt weight arounf 460 grains correct?

Thanks for the info guys. I'm planning the above set up for this year.

I just got a pair of pliers and twisted and pulled the original nock out.It already had a small hole on the bottom of the nock.I found the right size drill bit and drilled. The light(Thill replacement light:Walmart $3.50)slide tight into the nock.I didnt have to use super glue or anything it was the perfect tightness.<not sure if thats a word. For the piece that goes in the arrow i just used a peice of a dow rod and drilled a hole in and glued the battery in it and pushed it down in and it fit tight.Tested it out about 10 times and worked perfectly every time.
