Registry petition

Post by Norlander »

The OFAH (Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters) launched a petition this afternoon to get rid of the long gun registry in Canada. Please take a moment to look at the petition and, if you agree, sign it.
Unfortunately, our friends outside of Canada are not eligible to sign the petition (unless, of course you have a Canadian address.
Here's the link:

http://www.ofah.org/News/index.cfm?ID=3 ... oc&DID=463

In the past couple of hours more than 1300 have signed. I was #1353.
Hopefully, this will send a message to the government that we're serious about ending this two billion dollar fiasco.
Thanks,
Jerry

The only thing I don't like about this petition is that they want to know a lot of personal information.
With all the other petitions, all we had to do is check "yes" or "no".

Think about all the personal information that is already in the not-so-secure registry...

I signed...

I added it button to my blog, posted a seperate entry about it, and linked it in my Facebook status. Spread the word!

Let's get this money directed toward crime prevention initiatives that actually work!

Signed also. Direct from OFAH. Didn't see what # i was. If they finally listen to use (don't hold your breathe, we might fall over from lack of oxygen  ) this would possibly send a message to David Miller. But he's got his own agenda.
