I have been unable to get glasses which are perfect for me and an A.O. scope allows me to focus the objective lense so I can see like a person that has 20 20 vision. Not having AO results in a blurry image with much loss of detail.

Hi bstout
I've recently bought a brand new Mossberg 4x4 rifle 7mm rem mag which came with an Hawke scope on it.
I must say that I was sceptical, even more when I saw on Hawke's website that the scope was made for air rifles!
I didn't have the money to buy the bushnell 4200 which will go on it next month but after shooting 2 boxes of ammo last week, I can tell you that they're well made.
The optics are pretty clear and it kept zero even after all that given the strong recoil of the magnum rounds. I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with it.
I say, you don't have to worry about the recoil at all and I guess you'll be as surprised as me at the quality of such a low priced scope. I'll sure keep it for the .22.
Have a nice day
