I spent all last summer taking pictures of our humming birds. Drove my wife crazy.
Every moment in the woods is a gift from above, having the Excalibur with is a blessing...

I do enjoy feeding birds. Am not feeding any right now.
Feed lots of possums, though. They love cat food.
I have a pair of nesting bluebirds this spring, as I did last year.
I enjoy them!

I have these American Goldfinch's that have just showed up this past week. I am waiting for My hummingbirds to show they have showed up on May 5 th. for the last 2 years in a row. I love my hummingbirds.

My passion too. I don't keep track of the expense for seeds cause it would expense under 'hobbies' and detract from my Excaliber fund.
Last year we dolled out over 70 lbs of sugar and 8 jars of grape jelly. Thanks for the reminder, go to get the hummer feeds out this we.

I buy cracked corn and black oil sunflower seeds by the 50# bags and mix them together for the feeder.
Thistle seed in 10# bags for the finch "socks".

These are not wild but live in basement for now. It has to get warmer out and they got to get bigger before they are outside. They are seven days old.
