Memories of January 3rd, 2009 - 3D Shoot in Oxford County

Post by DirtyGun »

I finally got around to organizing some of my videos and came across the footage I filmed at the 3D shoot on January 3rd, 2009, in Oxford County.

Long range, over a pond, at a broadside bear target. The ice on the pond broke through when a few of our larger boys walked across it  :

This doe was safe from a few folks:

Shooting 'down the chute' at a standing bear...who took one in his 'private area':

The real reason we all showed up: Food! A great cooking job by Skinner:

Anyone need a cameraman to tag along? Because, I'm horrible at it, but have fun doing it!

Thanks for posting! That was a great day. I'm still amazed at how it all came together so well. The food was amazing and abundant. It was fun to shoot a 3D course with a bunch from this forum though if I remember correct there was just as much talking as shooting ("Who's up next?!")
Finally got to see Ken's shot at that deer with VixChix' Vixen. That was a hard one to judge. I think it ended up being over 50 yards (?).
Look forward to doing all again sometime soon!
