Looks like a nice 2 year old bird to me
Ya, he is. Note full stripes on the wings.
By the way...you'se guys talk funny!!!
What's so funny about the way we talk eh? I used to travel a lot with my job and every time I was in the southern States in a restaurant I wouldn't get two sentences out of my mouth before the waitress said, "Y'all are from Canada aren't ya". I was hanging out in a hotel lounge in Boston once and the bartender got a kick out of razzing me about saying "eh". I told him next time I was down I'd bring him a box of "R's" ( a letter the seem to be missing in the alphabet in Boston  ). That shut him up!
Way to go, Vix! Soooooo proud of ya!

...and now, I presume, you're hooked... Very Happy

Stinky
Me too Stinky! Look forward to seein' ya in July.
I can tell by doemasters look he is very proud of what he has done, It seems to please him more if he can call in birds for some one else. He has done it for me and he was more elated than I was with my first bird.
Ya, I hear Kevin gets a little, um, excited when he hears birds gobble. Seriously though, from what I've heard he's awesome at calling birds in!

It's been an exciting day. The meat's in the freezer, beard, spurs and tail feathers are treated with Borax and are awaiting further processing and the remaining feathers are all spoken for (crafts and fly tying). Thanks to Kevin for all you've done and to everyone on this forum for your continuing words of support, encouragement and congratulations! Now it's my turn. The alarm is set for 4:00am... zzzzzz....
