This is unbelievable. He was 400 plus inches last year at three years old. I can't wait to see him at five years old.

Apparently deer like that are pretty pricey. A friend investigated an opportunity to invest in one for artificial breeding program. Asking price to buy the buck outright $100,000.

That's funny ... I just sent a friend that SUPERCOW link this morning! :D

He's a farmer, and we were talking about selective breeding the other day.

If you breed on genetic defects, then you get strange breeds. When man breed on defects rather abnormal animals appear.

I'm a bit sad that profit often over shines the welfare of the animals... Belgian blues cant deliver their own calfs for example. They need caesarians.

My sister breed AHT's, American Hairless Terriers. Really nice dogs mentally, like them alot, but I cant see the lack of hair as anything more than the defect in there genome that it is. They lack hair, they probably lack other functions too (usually mutations like these does not only affect the actual hair but something deeper down in the system) and due to their lack of hair they have to wear clothes during winter not to be cold all the time. I think it is a bit immoral...

basically just steriods :D :D

when you pump minerals and other antler growing materials in them everyday, thats the result...

I'd settle for a 120inch wild buck anyday over that :D
