Remember Crazy, it is a random draw, so the only thing you win with the biggest bird is an over inflated ego 8) . And bragging rights  .

I don't guess this is the place for it but I really don't turkey trophy hunt.

I hunt long beards, so if a jake and long beard comes in the long beard gets it.

If two longbeards comes in I try and pick out the dominant bird - usually the strutter.

The trophy part is whatever it is..

My biggest so far was a 92 point ATypical. He came in with another longbeard but he gave me the best shot... Just dumb luck..

:) You are right Woody at times it is just pure dumb luck . :)
My best bird to date is a 75 typical . Yes I was hunting this particular bird but I had no idea of his measurements .Just that he had given me the slip a few times so it got personal . He could have been a smart 2 year old and I would have been just as happy . :D

plus its extremely hard to trophy turkey hunt. Unlike a buck, its not quite as easy to see the difference between an 10inch beard and a 12incher. You cant see the spurs and its hard to guess the weight also. If he comes in struting and I make out a beard thats curving, its a shooter.

ecoaster, good point:) I like the system for this contest
