I try and do without anything that adds weight. I move constantly and added weight is just not in the cards. I am now a minimalist regarding accessories.

The item I will never go out without is my full body harness. I climb every hunt. I love the freedom of a good light comfortable climber. And I love the fact that I am hooked up from the time I am on the ground until I return to mother earth at the end of the hunt.

I will dread the time when hunting in the treetops is no longer viable.

Bare essentials include knife, lighter, & Fox40 anytime I'm in the woods. If I'm hunting I'd need my legally required stack of paperwork along as well.

Believe it or not, the SheWee is a luxury item that I don't absolutely need. Toilet paper falls under that category as well (that's why trees grow leaves!)

I'm with Laura on the booze - that's one thing I'll never bother carrying into the woods.

Two things I feel lost without is : T.Paper and My Camera.

Something I would never bring into the woods is garbage. It totally disgusts me to see garbage left in the woods.

I should clarify, I don't consider it TP an "essential" but I'm almost never without some stuffed in a pocket somewhere.

ROFLOL!!! To this day, my Mom is never without a kleenex tucked somewhere. I grew up believing that kleenex and spit would fix anything.

Three things I never go without would a knife, a compass and a small flashlight. I always have a whistle tied on my compass lanyard too.
