Has anyone not had to cut the rods on the sts? I know I am going to try out new guys string stoppers. They seem much better designed.

Tim/TPM just picked up a set of NGSS today and is VERY happy with the fit and design!

Unfortunately, at this point they don't fit my Vixen with the older riser. Guess I need a new bow?

Is this the reason why some of us have to cut down the rods? They(the sts) was originally designed for the older riser? I had a newer exomax, than an equinox, now a y25 and all take the "shortened" sts rods.

And vixchix, any reason is a good reason to buy a new bow

the older risers didn't have the mounting holes needed for the sts or ngss or groundpounder

(The GroundPounder Mount fits my Vixen. For the NGSS the problem is that my Vixen's riser has a curved edge instead of an angled edge.)

Curves are good  I have the STS on my Phoenix and looking at it i would bet it could be modified to fit. I haven't been here only a day or two but have found out there are a lot of ingenious folks hanging out here.
