In a nutshell Grizz he was saying that the pain in his finger was equal to having hair all over his back. It just sounds good in french.

I watched it three times just to make sure it would never happen to me. And it won't. I will never whack my right thumb.

Hey- let's sell thumb guards.

Happened to me twice...with a bow I USED to own. Both times when I placed my hand alongside the forearm while steadying the bow on the railing of a deck or bow stand. Parker has since made the forearm bigger. The same words erupted from my mouth the first time...the second time I was too embarrassed by my stupidity to swear.

If I may provide a translation of what was said in the clip.

Shooter:

"I have no problems going on the "clanche" [part of the process of setting-up towards the target and releasing the mechanism] my pretty boy."

"Put the piece of hair [target] wherever you want".

Other guy:

"Shoot [shighting-in] over the bag and it will stick right in it."

"Unless I placed it on the wrong side."

Shooter:

"I caught my thum."

"Hiiiii! Tabarnack"

Repeats the "Hiiii! Tabarnack"

I keep thinking there may be a market for chainmaille thumb and finger guards issued with crossbows.

I had always heard about people doing it, and have warned people in our hunter education classes about it, but I've never seen it.

Now that I've seen it, I can't see myself ever doing it.
