It's a timber wolf. Last one I saw that big was in Spring Water Provincial Park near Barrie. He put his paws on the shoulders of a 5' 10" schoolmate of mine and give him a slurp! He was a caged timber wolf! The one in the picture was shot near Edson Alberta over a bear bait last week.
