Ranging deer

Post by Cossack »

So, if the target is at 37 yards and the double trunk tree at 50, how far is Heather from my deck, aka crossbow rest?

She's very close to 45, the double-trunk tree looks deceivingly close in the picture.

PS. In fact she's out there again...as we 'speak.'

Must be a young doe, no fawns? She looks big enough.

There is a week old fawn in the woods yonder. It's why she's hitting my septic tank food plot several times a day.
