While mowing the lawn.

Post by Mike P »

While mowing the front lawn this afternoon I came within eight feet of a terrible tragedy.

This little one was sooooo small it barely could be seen above the tops of the grass blades.

It never moved. I went in and got the camera and took the shot.

And here he/she is!

That is so nice. I have never seen a fawn yet where I hunt but yesterday I saw hoof prints about 1" long in some mud. How do we end up shooting something so cute?? Mike you see horns on him already don't you!!!!

Nice pic Mike P. I have to be very carefull mowing also as the little fellows like to hide in the hay meadow and they will not move. Saw two last week, no camera. June is also the time coyotes have at them.
I am a hunter and proud of it.

As many of you know I am a terrible photographer.

So for me, this picture is the best I think I have ever taken.

I think I got lucky.

I was overdue.
