3 cudde buck pics pulled today
Since its rainy and I had just bushhogged around this field I swapped cards while I was there. Had my rubber boots handy also and any scent left behind would be washed away. This cam's on the other end of one farm from another capture I have out(posted pics from that one last week). Of coarse I got the same bucks, even one group of 5 but they were running full speed and the pic isnt the greatest. I just wanted to post 2 pics just to get everyone in buck mode.
This is one of my fav trail cam spots. No bait or anything. Its just a hillside where they enter the field, bascially a funnel. I have 6 stands within 100-200 yards of this spot and needless to say it produces. I hunt the bottoms before they hit the fields.
This buck is growing and going for width. I cant tell what he's heading for but he might be a shooter. Not alot of mass though. I have 7 shots of this buck in a 4 min time frame LOL. He definitly isnt camera shy.
not a great pic, but 4 bucks decided sprint by the camera. The middle ones a dandy when I zoom in. Good mass and a shooter for sure when he finishes growing.
this one came in 30secs behind the other 4 bucks above. He's iffy, but a good young buck thats got some potential. Later pics of him will help me decide to shoot or pass this year.
This years looking good so far

its about 6 different bottoms that lead behind this field. Ideal hunting spot Ive got about 8 different bucks on boards and wallmounts from that spot LOL.huntone wrote: Nice pics crazyfarmer. Looks like some nice bucks you have there at that intersection.
Its just hard to tell what these bucks will be... but the camera will keep me posted
the capture seems to work flawless in this spot. I did get 2 purplish pics though since it had a hard time reading the light. But thats out of about 300 pics since last year from that camera.
Phil, keep in mind our deer arent half what the body size of ya'lls are. One of those is a 4 year old which will be lucky to hit 140 dressed. I think a 4 year old up your way would be 200 easy LOL
cant wait to see what the other 4 cams hold

Mike, when I zoomed in on the orginial I saw very good mass and you can tell he's the older deer. Im hoping to get better pics of him, but im hoping he's one of the 3 I had pics of from last year so he definitly will hit shooter status. Still a 130-140class buck if he grows like last year.Mike P wrote:I like that buck in the middle of the pic with the bucks running.
I think he is going to be a dandy.
Your bucks are a tad further along then ours regarding antler growth.
I have to check the beanfields for groundhogs tomorrow so ill pull the card from the other end of the field and hopefully he's on that
its weird though since bucks 5 miles away have about 6-7more inches of growth over these. Ive noticed those same bucks rut about a week sooner also on average. Which works out good also
