The feed sac with grocery bags will work just fine. I get the same penetration with my crossbow and my compound.

3 shoulder surgeries for me, I might not be able to shoot my compound ever again. I'm using a modified crank from a different company, I use a cordless screwdriver to crank it when I'm target shooting. I crank it by hand when hunting. The crossbow is nice but I really miss shooting the compound.

cocking problems
First off glad to see another Texas hunter on the forum, Welcome. You chose the right combination of speed a size for your crossbow. The Phoenix will do all the animals in North America most in all other places. Your rope cocker should serve you well. Not knowing the extent of your injury I can tell you that with my torn rotator I can cock a Phoenix. Ronnie
