new ibex owner question!
Congratulations on your most excellent purchase!!

With my Ibex I shoot (carbon) GT Laser's with brass inserts and 100 gr tips. With my Boo string I am getting 289 fps (74 KE) and love the results on my target!!
I know some use 125 gr heads.

Great bow I have been shooting GTII brass inserts alum knocks 100gr tips. Total arrow weight 400gr im shooting 290fps. I have also been shooting easton powerbolts 112gr brass inserts 100gr tips and alum knocks there a little slower i think around 278 . I got some maxx hunter vanes today i havent shot them much but seam to shoot real good. As far as broad heads im not sure leaning toward the G5 tekans.

Have been using the Excalibur Firebolts (Easton C2 shafts) that came with the package (& can be purchased separately) with no complaint. With 125 grain heads, they come to ~395-400 grains. If memory serves, they measured ~13-14% front of center.
Several broadhead types have given decent groups, but the best by a longshot are the Slick Trick standard 125. Group sizes & point of impact could not be closer to field points, even at 40 & 50 yards. Would prefer a one-piece resharpenable head like Snuffer or Montec but have not tried them yet. The slick tricks come very sharp, and the blades are strong, probably the sturdiest I've ever seen on a replaceable blade head. Certainly won't hesitate to use them on game, but I do like being able to sharpen my own so will at least give the one-pieces a chance.
The Ibex is one fine piece of equipment. You'll be amazed at how consistent & reliable it is, even after string changes, reserving, etc. Heck, I've even taken the bow completely off the stock & put it back on with no change to point of impact.
