additional ontario deer tags

I gotta vent on the MNR
Ive been on the phone redialing for 6 consecutive hours and all i got was a busy signal.
I wanted to purchase an additional tag for wmu 84.
After 6 hours i called the outdoor card line to speak to someone about this.
I then inquired about the region im interested and informed the rep that i had to leave for work and cant call back for another 9 hours.
His answer was to have someone else call for me.

I asked him to check if there were any tags left in wmu 84 and he suppossedly checked and told me there all gone.There were 150 tags available in this area.
To say im pissed is an understatement.
With todays technoligy were forced to sit on our phone for 6 hours to find out there are no tags left,,common.

it's a terrible system ..archaic ....heard of a guy who entered his credit card # and was waiting for approval when the credit card system went down ....when he finally got thru again the tags in his unit were all sold ....i think it should be a draw and and offer them to the winners if they don't want them keep drawing something has to change ....terrible system ...

My buddy got through after 5 hours and got a tag and by the time i got through, they were all out.
Go figure.

John.. be sure to buy a lottery ticket also. Sounds like you're on a lucky streak!! I've been hitting redial for 7.5 hrs and finally got through successfully. Best of luck to the other applicants ...with a pinch of patience of course.

After hanging last years tags on the wall I think I will wait till I have filled the first before I get too egar to get another

But I have done the MNR phone game a few times and it is frustrating to say the least

I really wish the mnr would get their act together and allow us to purchase them online. I did get through though, and am fortunate enough to have a tag on the way.

I tried a few times the first day, busy, tried when I got up the next morning(5:30) and got right through. I should have waited in the first place as I have never had any trouble in the wee hours.
