140 grain broadhead

Post by Big D »

I am going to start the season with 2 blade rage. Does anyone no anything about the 140 grain montec? I am already shooting a heavy arrow 535 with 100 grain tip out of my equinox and boo string. I have 70 grain weights with a alum. insert which combined is 200 grains up front. It flew great with 100 grain feild tip. I was wondering if 140 grain montec plus extra 70 grain weights would be to heavy for the 2219 spine? The total arrow weight would be 575. The rage I hear are a one shoot deal; therefore, I was looking for another head for antlerless deer later in season. I hunt in 2b zone in pa and some areas are over populated with doe. I was trying to find a extra head that can be resharpen and used over and over.

Thanks for your help. Big D

The magnus ss snuffers are guaranteed for life, mail it back for a new one if bent or what ever, I use these no problems what so ever.
