A properly placed arrow and some patience could get them both! :D

Neither, given the time of the year, there is a lot more hunting to do. We can only shoot one this yr, and a doe by special permit only. I'd keep looking but eventually shoot one for the freezer. A doe is I'm lucky enough to draw a permit.

Personally I would shoot the doe vice the young bucks. Many years ago I would have whacked the first one that presented a shot. It's all a personal choice, if you were a young child, an adult who has never killed a deer or have very limited hunting oportunity, than any of them are fair game.

dont waste a young buck
I don't particularly care for this statement. I'm not wanting to stir the pot with this statement but also want to give my point of view. We all have different goals and reasons for why we hunt. We also all have different hunting opportunities. Some better, some worse. For me the only waste of a deer is one that is not used after harvested. Don't get me wrong I like big antlers too and I've also let a many young deer walk. But we also know that the younger are better when it comes to eating.

I agree with groundpounder if I was gonna shoot one of these deer it would be a young buck for the freezer ... :)
