STS
I just put a new sts on my Exomax. The brace hight for my string makes the STS not fit right. I keep my string just aft of the forward mark. If I cut the posts a 1/4 inch it still wont be enough to fit. Any Help will be great.

Mike, what I did was that I took a pair of vernier calipers and measured the amount of exposed rod between the bumper and the STS body. I then cut that amount of the end that goes into the body. That way the bumper is supported by the end of the rod and the base of the bumpers allowing for a longer lived bumper. I found that a dry-fire destroyed the bumpers and when it was cut down and supported by the base they would survive a dry-fire. After the rods are cut if you want to raise the brace height you simply loosen the set screw that holds the rod and point the bow up and let the bumpers touch the string and tighten up the set screw. It is less complex than any other system out there.
