Here is a email response I got today fm Martone

Thank you for your concern on the crossbow issue. I am working diligently to understand the issues on both sides. My first concern on this issue and any issue that comes before the Board will always be the resource. I do plan to vote for the full-inclusion of crossbows, however as you suggest, we will look at the results of this year's season and make any adjustments necessary in the future.
