feed blocks

I was in Walmart the other day and saw some 20# feed blocks in a camo wrapper for $7 . . .do these things work this time of year?

Does the Buck Jam work? Anything?

I'm specifically wondering about this time of year with the acrons, apples, plums, and other food sources available.

I have used buckjam and the deer love it .they seem to like the corn flavor the best I pour a gallon onto a stump.the chow blocks I use are from purina and they love them too. dont know about the walmart ones I buy them from a feed store. 15 bucks a block 33#
