HI I am looking for a broadhead that has a big cut. And something that gives a good blood trail?? What type of Broadheads do you shoot and do you like them??

perhaps Im the wrong guy to answer your q, since I posted a similar question on mechanicals  But I have used slick tricks, excaliburs boltcutters, wasp boss, and some no names. They all took down deer as long as I put the crosshairs in the right place. The boltcutters were my most accurate head, but the slicks were my favorite, eventhough i made a bad hit. But i think because of the 4 blades the deer bleed out fast.(within sight). Blood everywhere!!

Im still looking for the stick of dynamite on the end of a arrow myself

I only know of one, but, there usually is no need of a blood trail. The deer do not go that far . . .

STRICKNINES. I don't like them, I LOVE them.

You sure the top one isn't your ST? What was the distance? Can you give us more information on your set-up?

Thanks.

If you study the Top bulleye you will notice the area has been shot at alot more than the bottom Bull. That why the penetration is different.

The yardage is 25 from my Vixon II with Gold Tips, arrow weight is 405gr.

Just that, if you study the picture, then you see no apparent evidence of blades cutting the target.

The arrows fly differently from a Vixen than they do from an Exomax. The extra speed/wind comes with a price.

That's why it's hard to say, use this set up or that set-up. There are a lot of combinations that work very well with each bow. Finding the combination that flies well for you is part of the challange and the fun.

There is also different set-ups for the different game we hunt. Size matters on boths ends of the hunt.

The slower bow will be more forgiving with a lighter arrow, esp with lower FOC. I found that I had to up the weight in front to 125grs to get my 355 fps bow to shoot to he same point as my 290 fps bow when using a 100 gr head. (Both slicks).
