THREE MORE SLEEPS.....

Post by Bill T »

I'm just finishing up my last-minute stuff and getting my gear in order for a very big adventure. Sunday morning Dave, videographer extrordinaire, and I are getting onto the big bird and heading for Zambia where we will be spending 3 weeks in pursuit of Lion, Leopard, and Buffalo. I expect that there will be some additional "collateral" damage also, since we will need to set up baits and I doubt that there'll be a Tim Hortons close enough to provide day-olds for us. Rumor has it that Hippo is the bait of choice for Lion and Impala for Leopard. I'll be bringing extra arrows with this in mind!
If any of you guys are interested, go to Google Earth and search on "North Luangwa National Park" We will be hunting on both sides of the river along the north boundry of the park. If you check us out every day at 5PM we'll even look up and wave to you, we'll be in the truck with the huge dust cloud behind it.
If all goes well we'll be bringing home a ton of great memories and a bunch of video to share with you folks. If not, we'll be feeding the local wildlife and fertilizing the local vegitation.
Have fun getting ready for deer season, and play nice while I'm gone. I'll be back on the 24th with a report on how it went.............Bill

Make sure you can run faster than the cameraman.

Hope you have a very successful hunt!
