Crossbows as you never seen before video

Post by emmevi »

good morning all

I just wanted to let you know that we finally got our slow motion camera and started playing with it...

We have been able to shoot some footage and create the fist two sections of
"Crossbows as you never seen before" featuring a few scenes of crossbow shooting ( Excalibur Equinox )

http://www.crossbow-review.com/TechCorn ... owsNSB.htm

If you have any comments and/or suggestions on aspects that may be interesting to see...

The discussion is open

enjoy

Very interesting and cool to watch. Gives you a better appreciation of the stress some of the parts endure upon launch.

Watch the string on the Equinox . . .looks like its pounding the riser . . .good reason to add a STS.

Good review, by the way, on those Boo Custom strings! 8)

Very interesting for sure!
What I would like to see is a fastflight string vs a dacron string on the Excalibur.

Sumner said it, any one seeing this and what goes on should be thinking about a STS surely would stop a lot of punishment we put on our bows.

Very interesting! It would be neat to see how much difference a sts would make with string bounce and limb flex

Thanks for the video it was very interesting.

Can you add sound? I feel some narration before and maybe after the shots would add a lot to the video. What you are about to see, what you should look for, why, etc.

Take care...

after watching that string jump around. I plucked mine and let it hit the rail theres a good bit of noise there. I would also like to see a STS tried and some cat wiskers How heavy was the arrow And thanks for sharing great job.

very cool. Thanks for posting.

This just reinforces my choice of Excalibur. When I watch the punishment and the shear force of released energy, I'm glad that there are no more moving parts on my crossbow than what there are.
