I get to go to a church http://www.bethany.on.ca/ where the main Pastor is a hunter. It comes up often in his sermons. Pastor Bill doesn't miss a chance to talk hunting on our way out the door. If nothing is in season, he gives us the count down to either turkey, goose or deer season as he's shaking our hands. I respect him for his faith and his love of the outdoors! If you're ever in the area and stop in on a Sunday, be sure to mention to Pastor Bill that you hunt!!!

To me hunting is one of God's great gifts. So I guess I'm lucky, I get to go to church and think about God AND hunting.

Sitting on God's sweet creation, watching the birds and squirrels as the sun comes over the crest, all is quiet, all is well. So often I just smile and say, thank you for this. Just like a cathedral it is, no better place than that to contemplate.
