I find the Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 fills my needs well.
I have owned more expensive models with more features, but the Bushnell is extremely accurate and easy to use.
I pre-range landmarks from my stand or blind so I'll have a good idea of when a deer is within range and won't have to worry about anything but making a good shot when the deer appears. With this method I don't really need a lot of features other than accuracy from a rangefinder.

I have the yardage pro and am very pleased. I use it in the same method as Wabi .

I tried several out before I purchased the Nikon 440. All were accurate and there was very little difference in the clarity of the optics. I decided on the Nikon based on how it felt in my hands and how easy the buttons were for me to operate. It just "fit" me a little better.
It's my play toy while I'm waiting on the deer to appear.

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

I have 2 both bushnell a 450 and a 1500 they are both accurate but the 1500 quit on me last spring the 450 won't range through a blind screen but the 1500 will Bushnells service leaves a lot to be desired as a matter of fact it stinks.
