Nice bear.

Baiting is a tremendous advantage in bear hunting. They are slaves to their stomachs, and will risk it all when habituated to a bait or food source.

I wish we could bait bear in NC. If we could, I'd have an outfitting business.

I watched the video earlier today . . .it was the second one I believe. One heck of a bear. She certainly waited for the perfect shot. She had a couple of earlier opportunities and waited, they just weren't perfect.

Yeah, she didn't seem too excited at first . . .I think she was still scared and it's hard to be excited in moist britches.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

I helped carrt a 345 lb.bear 3 wks ago{exact weight because we weigh them before dressing them} I couldnt imagine trying to move it.
