China crossbow 80#

Post by ManX »

Hi you guys

a new question:
what do you eventually do if you will recive as a present a China Pistol Crossbow like this:
Image

http://cgi.ebay.com/PISTOLA-BALESTRA-80 ... 286.c0.m14

I can post this 'cause it is an useless toy for child that does not represent any competition or problem for Excal

Thanks for your attention,
regards

China Crossbow

Post by greener »

Pistol-style crossbows are considered prohibited weapons in Canada. They come under the same sections of the Criminal Code of Canada as do some of the martial arts weapons such as Throwing Star's and Numchuka sticks. If you are convicted of possessing these items you will likely also be prohibited from possessing firearms and real crossbows as a term of probation or worse yet , a prohibition order.

Looks like it may be fun to play with on the indoor range.

Further Info. A crossbow designed to be held and fired with one hand and an overall lenght of less than 500mm ( 19.8 inches ) is a prohibited weapon in Canada

Do not worry : I live 8000km from Canada, so laws are quite different: 18y to buy a bow or xbow, they are not consideres as weapons but sporting goods as a tennis ball or a snowboard.
Hunting with a crossbow is allowed, with a bow you can
This pistol is consider really a toy and do not need 18y to buy it.

Congrats waby: you are completly right, power is similar to an airgun of 5joules, 20-25m of max rage,
but I have done more with it...
do you want to know?

No...Very low quality:
Origal safe was a crap: it shoots little bolts in safe without press :?
I open it and make a lot of elaboration to increase security and pwr...
also add a lot of gadgets.
Philp, be polite: not only fishing...you will see

A good challenge, isn't it?

a RECOMMENDATION: be really carrefully if you want to reply me : Chine items are completely dangerous: you have to do a lot of modifies if you are able

But I have done better.....if you are interesting: stay online
