Very nice. Could you please give us the details of your hunt? CB, BH, setup, distance, etc.

Thanks...

18 yd shot vixen crossbow2215 shaft 100gr stryker broadhead.day 2 of the hunt I let off a bearbomb.about 11/2 hr later I was looking at a book ,lifted my head up and there he was looking at me,he turned and went to the bait stood up offering me no shot,in an instant he grabbed the bait ripped it off the tree breaking 4 strands of wire and gone..1hr later the bear cme in with the long hair on its back it had a deformed hind leg and walked most of the time on 3legs.he looked like a cross with a wolf so we called him bolf. he had been seen the day before 2 km. away by a fried at his stand, and was back 2 nites later.day 4 I looked to the left and there was a bear ,he gave a bluff charge ,and the cane to the bait{it could have been to scare off a lesser bear}once he was broad side I released the arrow. He ran oo into thick spruce, then I heard hevy coughing then quiet. He only ran 40 ft. and hit the scales at275 lbs. That was my 8 th.bear with the vixen,13 th overall.Love bear hunting.

Those trailcam are a cool way of checking who's hitting the baits at night... Nice big bear.... I wish we can hunt them here in the Socialist Republic of NJ.....But it way too political for this Blue State.....
