Exocet 200 speed

to reach that speed you need the below
350grain total arrow
FFF string
then you will see 325-330
Mine shot 327 on that setup, but I didnt like the loud twang, vibration from the light arrow/string, and the wear on the string.
Most of us when we first get these bows are worried about speed. About a month later we want something we can depend on as far as string life and accuracy goes.

The only question I have is how do you lose accuracy with speed?

I'm guessing mine's in the 300 FPS range with the "Lite Stuff" package.
Fast enough where I can barely see the bolt flying.
...and with a red dot sight, the dot pretty much blocks out the hit, so I go on sound.
When I walk towards my target, the bolt is almost always right where I want it.
30 yards and in.

A fixed blade bhead on a light arrow w/ too low a FOC would be my guess. To be fair, my only experience w/ this was the old GT's that came w/ Right Stuff packs circa '04 and I think WASP bheads. They did exactly as advertised, 3" groups at 25 yds. Close to 350 gr. Other setups got better. The only question I have is how do you lose accuracy with speed?

My 200lb Vortex(which is the same bow but with a thumb hole stock) shoots 303 fps with 400 gr GT II's brass front insert 100gr head.
I don't think I will need more speed than this for deer at 40 yds or less.
I know a guy who shot a deer at 70 yds with an Exocet 200 but to me that is pushing the limits.

Carbon Gold Tip Laser II's , standard aluminum inserts, 100 grain Magnum Slick Tricks, standard string= 315-320fps over the chrono. It is very consistent out of my Exocet 200. Don't know what the total weight is of the arrow and broadhead. I replace the string every year as there seems to be a lot of wear on it.
