Great Photos.... That must've been thrilling to say the least.... Seems like Hippo really is the best bait for lions..... I bet a few days in the African heat made that pretty ripe....

Maybe in a few years there'll be an African market for "Lion-Bomb"!!!... Real Hippo scent in a can..... Just pop the top and let the essence of Hippo fill your hunt area.....Lions come running to Lion-Bomb......

Hmmmmm, there again maybe not.....

A hippo with a 375 H&H? Ya, I could see myself doing that. A lion at 18 yards with a crossbow? Depends..... as in that's what I'd have to be wearing... :shock: :oops: :lol:

Awomaway awomaway.... th lion sleeps tonight. Awe some how that song comes to mind when I see that awesome tame cat. It must have PURRED real good when it got shot. :D :D Can you imagine feeding that mouth daily? It would break the bank! :D :D Nice shooting Bill. Glad the trip went well and your back safe. Glad also to see things are looking up for Excal as doors are opening and new people can work for a local company. Thumbs Up
