Good Opening Weekend

Post by MidTnHunter »

After the rains all day Saturday weekend turned out good after all. Saw lots and lots of deer everyday. Finally took these young ones Tuesday afternoon.  First deer taken with the Equinox. One deer was at 28 yds. other at 15 yds both ran about 20 yards.

Congratulations on the boat load of deer! We did that one time with the boat but wish we had pictures. We had 4 people, rifles, and packs, and two deer all loaded in a small John boat coming down the Amicalola River. It wouldn't have been a great picture of safety :? We all made it out fine though :)
