Do you have a garage? If so go to a grocery store where they cut their own meat and see if one of the butchers will come to your place to take care of your deer.A good butcher can have your deer done in about an hour. Give him/her $75.
You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.

Not sure how far you want to drive but the butcher (professional) I use and a number of forum members is in the Wallenstein area. I have sent alot of deer over the years for processing and this fella is second to none. I just got my Pepperettes back and they are the best yet.

PM me if your interested and Ill slide you his information.

Cheers,

I noticed that there is a butcher who is offering his services on kijiji hamilton. By the sounds of it he will come to your place to do it, if anyone needs a butcher.

We have butchered our own for years( I think I was maybe 9 when I began helping my dad) and to be honest it is much better, no bones through the saw( tainting the meat) and family appropriate sized packages. A good knife will give you steaks, roasts and stewing meat. As you go on you can invest in a meat grinder/sausage stuffer. We just did three on the weekend. Find a meat cutting chart if your hesitant and away you go.

I use Lebolds Butcher Shop in Lucknow 519-528-2242 [email protected]. They had a good sized cow moose to butcher when I dropped off my deer 3 weeks ago.
I know they do a lot of deer for guys after the gun hunt.
