Add some cracked corn and you will have a winning formula.

Exactly! We have found that the deer go for it in this blend. Around a 3 parts cracked corn to 1 part oats!

Before baiting was banned I used Molasses with just about anything and the hordes will come. Deer love the stuff cracked corn n apples mixed was my #1 go to if I ever baited, however I always preferred a good tree laden with acorns.

That mixture will work well on its own, especially come late season. They'll be diggin in the snow for it.
