I wear a watch no matter what. Mine doesn't beep, it vibrates to indicate various modes, like legal sunset/sunrise, alarms, hourly chimes, moon phase.. I don't have to look at it, I can tell what is happening by the slight vibrations on my wrist.
"buttons" are becoming obsolete, my watch turns the back-light on automatically for a few seconds when it senses you lifted to look at it.
All those goodies for under $30. I am a casio fan too for aggressive watches, but mine is certainly not as thin as the one you posted.

I don't wear a watch while hunting. I use my cell phone not just to occasionally look at the time but mostly for the fact that you never know when you might need it for a fall or whatever.
I always turn the ringer off and leave it on vibrate but I learned to not put it in the left top pocket of my shirt or overalls 'cause it went off once while in my stand and for just that "split second", I wasn't sure if it was my heart vibrating or what... WHEW!!
I keep it in a pants pocket now......

I wear a Timex expedition. It is reliable and simple, just like my bow. Having a watch helps me keep up with deer movement.

I carry this type watch -

I've found the money clip watch to be very handy, but it always reminds me it's time to make more money.

I never carry a watch of any sort. Never have. I can tell the time pretty well anyhow.

I wear a watch but I rarely look at it. I find the shooting times unreliable. There are dark, rainy days where I wouldn't shoot even close to the legal shooting time. Then there are days were a minute or two extra would be safe (not ethical but safe!). My life was ruled by bells and clocks for 32 years. No not an inmate ...... a science teacher! Well some would argue same thing!!!

I am a stickler for legal shooting times.

Thus, I always have a timepiece with me on every hunt.

Lately it has been my cell phone.
