Drove me out of the stand last night. Coming down so hard any blood trail would have been covered in no time. 23 F at the moment, postponing the morning hunt as it's still coming down. Blame it on global warming.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!

I love snow, as long as its ALREADY on the ground. Makes for a blood trail even a colour blind guy like me can find.

Wabi's right, you can keep the cold just give us the snow. Makes the deer stand out like a sore thumb.
