The 3 of us have been sick for just about 3 weeks now and are still coughing and snorking. Not quite able to stay quiet long enough for hunting. Haven't been out in the woods with my bow yet at all. Am hoping the day will come soon though!

My brother from out west ("Stinky Buffalo" here on the forum) is coming to visit along with his 7 yr old girl, for a few days starting Saturday. I haven't seen him since Dad's funeral 2 years ago so we'll be spending as much time as possible together. The deer will have to wait a little longer.

BTW, have you local hunters seen the forecast for the weekend overnight lows? -8 to -10... brrrrr! Should get those deer up and feeding!

I shot one of my biggest bucks {10 point} in Wisconsin in the rain. That was 25 years ago, I hunt in the rain

Yep, hardcore like frisky said. I love hunting in a drizzle. Seems like deer are very active during that time. In a downpour I wont be out even if the deer are

Stop telling your wife you saw nothing . . .that can only lead to trouble. I told my wife that and she told me to stop wasting my time going out there. From that point on, I never saw anything "worth shooting". :D

I like this answer. the forecast was for scattered showers. well the weatherman definately wasn't where I was, because those showeres were a downpour that lasted all day :!:
