Back from Cottage

Well just got back from the Cottage tonight. Went up to close it up for winter and get in some Grouse hunting.

My favorite Bird.

Lots of rain and cold temps. Snowed twice, this morning it snowed 1/2".
Because of wet spring and wet summer, lots of small Grouse didn't survive.
But I tried, got 7 Grouse to bring home. I couldn't drive to much yet, but the Wife was there for me.

Same as always. I got some nice pics of the snow and Grouse I'll post later. One bunch of boys form the townsite got a nice Bull Moose, about 30 in. spread. They were the only ones I seen. Was a very nice Thanksgiving though. Hope everyone here had a good one also.

Sounds like you had fun. Glad to hear you are getting out. I took Nellwyn out for a few grouse hunts so far and she's a natural. I don't know why I waited so long to get her into it.
