First deer with the VORTEX

Post by Carnivorous »

Finally got a day off work & all other things. This was my first time out this year & brought the climber. On my way to my tree for the day this 5 point & an eight beat me to the small bush lot I was going to hunt. Put the climber down & it only took one turn of the doe bleet can to bring this guy in on a string.

15 yard neck shot 40 yard recovery. Rage 100gr broad head. (Bought the rage as they were recomender by enourmous). As you can see it was an easy blood trail to follow.

I have been practising alot this year & aiming small really helped. But hey 15yards is up close & personal.

I hunt just outside Dutton. Good healthy population around their.
Takes me 1.5hrs to get their from my house but it's well worthy the trip.
