i remember reading about using apple juice , and heating it up, but cant remember the set up , any help would be great , thanks , barry :D

i just did it to burn honey in for bear what you need to do is take a one gallon coffee can and about 1 1/2 inch from the bottom drill some holes in it so you can put pieces of coat hanger threw to form a grate (i use 4 pieces) then go down to the dollar store and get some little tea candles .you lite 3 or 4 and set them in the bottom then cut up an apple and add some apple juice to a smaller can and set it on top of the grate and in a few min. it will steam and let sent out . i can post a pic if you need one good luck munch

i think thats the same idea , thanks a photo would be great , i remember a lot of talk about this a year or 2 a go but i likely did not describe right ,

Someone posted about these on the hunt ontario site a couple of years ago. Supposed to work pretty good. Deer are pretty curious creatures and are attracted by the smell and the smoke.

This method has been tried for many years. It works best where there is Apple orchards near by already or fruit trees. And also when the food is less plentiful. I use the same for Bear with molasses or Maple syrup.
