First hunt of the year = First Buck ever

Post by LondonDave »

Got out for the first time this morning, almost didn't go just because I was feeling lazy. Got in the stand at 6:15am Almost fell asleep a couple of times and almost packed it in early because I was having a heck of a time staying awake. This little fella walked out right about 8:00. 30 yards broadside good vital shot. Got down and found nice blood right away but couldn't find my arrow. Decided to go get a Tim's and give it some time. Went back out with my neighbour Vince The Newfie blood tracker extrodinare who got right on the trail and found him about 50 yards away in some pretty thick stuff.

Shot with Exomax, 100 grain Slick Trick and Greywolf custom alumimum arrow.

Pic is a little washed out.
