POI Shift

Post by Ghost »

I just fletched some arrows that seem a little off target. When I rotate the arrow on the rail, changing the cox vane, the POI for that arrow rotates in the same direction.

Is the problem in the vanes or my fletching? Blazer vanes, 2 degree right offset, Jojan Fletcher and clamp, Gold tip Laser II arrows, 22% FOC.

I did the same fletch on these same shafts but with different blazers this summer and they were right on target. Changing the cox vane position did not effect the POI of an individual arrow.

My experience has shown that this is usually due to an arrow shaft that is not straight.

I number my arrows so I can tell if one has an issue
